Death of an Immortal

As you plunge your blade into the undead king. As he dies he will say “I am a mere reincarnation of the great god and I will see you again mortals. We are all shadow in the setting sun” when he dies all the loot stays but his body disintegrates. The robes are too ripped to wear. As he dies all the Black Glass Spears (lerium) sink back into the ground. The stone pond and glass star return to the throne. All the dead are resurrected as priests to the god like they were 1,500 years ago. They thank you for freeing them. All the dead adventurers are now also priests but are mostly the protector of the temple. The worshipers give you all _________. (make all these items magic.)

How do we get out again…

You can now use a find the path spell in the dungeon because the evil magic is lifted. If not you will find the way out by seeing your own party footstep because there is dust everywhere else. Once you have left the dungeon you can head down the mountain to the town of monks. The temple leader is gone and has fled to a simpler temple near the sea and in the middle of a forest. When the party sees the temple leader again they can kill him. The monks down in the town will give the party 100 gold pieces each when they return.

The Room of Perishing Souls

As you go down the hallway you see gargantuan bronze door. As you get closer you see shapes of people being eaten and dragons desecrating villages The blood of the bodies almost seems to seep out of the door. The gore is incredible intense and the party must make a charisma saving throw of dc 19. If you fail you will have a -3 to hit for 2 rounds of combat. When you get past the door you will see a large room 50 feet high and 100 by 100 feet, its circular. This is the inner sanctuary there is a huge throne with an undead in it. There are 2 braziers on each side and in one of the undead hands is a book. The other outstretched hand is reaching for the top of a large black sword. Tossed on the floor are the statues of a stone pond and a glass star. The undead has a long black glass staff and a big black glass greatsword. It is also wearing cultist robes and a long black cloak with Scarlet designs. There are long black glass spears or spikes sticking up out of the ground. On the end of these spears are dead bodys of groups of people sent to kill this undead. And there are other dead cultists on the floor that have been killed by mortal wounds. When you enter you hear a loud booming voice erupt from the dead on the throne. “You are not the first foolish adventurers soul to enter my temple and you will not be the last. You are another maggot I get to crunch under my wrath. Come here so I may make this quick and end your life with valor and glory. This blade has taken the lives of many. I am as old as time itself. This world is a mere puppet. Come to my blade Mortals!” With that he slams his staff on the ground and all the undead rise. He stands up and the combat begins. (for images for the undead go to Templar displays, dark spawn, and undead in the dragon age images. In sea of poseidon.)

One of the attacks the undead king has is he can make a whirlpool of black spikes of pure corruption that drop down for floor level. This attack should be a very powerful attack. It is recommended by gravity getting way stronger and pushing the party to the ground or in this case spikes. (costes 2 attacks.)  He can also mass raise undead (costes 1 attack.) He has a black lerium spike shooter (weakest attack. Coastes 1 attack for 5 spikes) He can at time launch multiple of these spikes (two attacks for 15 spikes.) His medium attack should be a death ray.

  1. It slows you DC 10 for perilize for 2 rounds,
  2. make a mute saving throw same DC,
  3. It can also corrupt one party member for 1 round with a very high 10. (costs 2 attack)

For death ray roll a d4 and a d3.

Tombs of Champions

Upon Taking the 4th fork you will see a door. Make a dc 10 to find it, Dc 14 to doge 1d6 darts. There are 2 divides the damage accordingly. If you enter the room you will see it is round with 6 doors. You have just entered through one. In the middle in a big fire blazing high. Oxygen seems scarce in here. Anyone who breathes air will take 1 HP every 10 rounds (1 minute.) Every door has a slot for an energy core as well as a symbol. Door one has a target on it and will lead to the crypt of accuracy. That door is caved in. The crypt is empty, it is a 15 by 15 round room. There is a small coffin which is empty. The coffin Had a live mummy in it at one point. This now dead mummy has claw marks on it is most surely dead boby. Its cloth wrappings are on the floor and there is an indent in one hand were an axe could/should be. The other 4 door and room are the same except that the door has a different glyph, and the mummys are alive. They will tap into the power of the axe and and have a fighting style based on that weapon.  All the rooms will have a part of a key except the blood tooth axe. The door of the blood axe has a person with an axe through the skull. This room has etched into the wall stone images of great feats, A person slaying a dragon, a demon being sent back to the underworld, and A god wrestling a lion back to the land of mortals. The next door will have a flame still burning. The mummy in this room will be able to summon a lava elemental. Inside the room there are images of all the different elements. On another door there will be a glyph of a person holding their head and an axe flying through the air towards a person. The mummy inside will be extra weak if you can make it past the axe. The axe has telapathic conection to the mummy and can fly. The last door has on it a shield with a tooth in it. This door is locked and will only open if you have the four other key parts. When the party enters the room they will see the same thing as all the other rooms. There will be a coffin with a mummy lord levitating above it and it will be holding an axe. The mummy will float down and attack the party. The axe on a hit will give the user 5 hit points and grants 20% of damage dealt turned into a shield and 20% damage done as healing to the wilder (party member.)

Shrines to the Three

As you get deeper and deeper into the maze of winding tunnels you will come across a fork in the road (At the very end.) It Leads 4 ways. 1, shrine of Amun-knock 2, shrine of sildren 3, shrine to obinew, 4 The tombs.

If you make an offering You will have a +1 to charisma saves. There is a manuscript of power in knowledge ( +1 intelligence & +1 strength) In the room is a ring of darkness. It will shield you from 10 points of dark damage and redirect it upon a foe. It activates every time you are hit by an evil attack. It does  20 to weak monsters and 0 to resistant monsters.

Shrine to Amun-Knock… When you follow that fork in the road you come across an ark in the form of a door. This ark is gold with diamond in laced.  Shrine to Sildren… As you take the fork in the road you will see the same thing arc door boarding a round room. In the middle back in a statue of a pound with small ripple running across. There Is a place at the bottom that says “shrine of Sildren.” Two dead priests were in prayer. They are each praying on a book. The books are calm in the midst of chaos (+1 dexterity +1 constitution.) There are 100 GP and decade offerings but there is a silver necklace of light. The silver necklace Will take away 10 points of damage from evil attack when they hit you. This light when it absorbs the 10 it deals 10 points of light damage. 20 to weak monsters and 0 to resistant. If you make an offering in the shrine you get another +1 to charisma saves.

The Labyrinth of Decay

When you enter the temple you see a dead body. The dead body has chunk missing and contains no knowledge, its mind has been blocked by Odinew. The parts that are missing are coated with a black rock or maybe a crystal (it is a crystal.) The body has a scroll which is faded and ripped. It is a rough map of this lamerinthy with a few errors. On the walls there are tapestries. The ink of the tapestries has stained the wall behind them. This is black lyrium. If gather it does +2d10 (10 uses.) In one of the rooms there is a minotaur.

The Abandon Temple of Rot and Death

Upon entry you see long crumbling halls. This place has felt the woe of time. The remains and ruble litter the hall. The offering left by travellers are left neglected and rotting. Have a few winding tunnels and every once in a wail have a group of protectors appear(go to Templar displays, dark spawn, and undead in the Dragon Age images. In sea of poseidon.) Once they have dispatched of a few of these they come to one last camp. In this camp there’s a raging barbarian and 5 burned wolves (all in sea of position.) After the combat they notice a hole in the ground underneath the barbarians tent. It leads down a 50 foot shaft. It leads into the labyrinth of decay.

On the Precipice of the Temples Dark Power

As the party marches on the air grows thinner and thinner if the party does not take the potion they were given they will loss 10 HP every hour until someone dies. When you are nearly at the top of the mountain you see stone temple doors overlooked by three statues. You see a crows nest on the side of the temple in it is a crow staring at the party. The crow lets out a squawk and disappears into the nest. On the temple doors you see this. Under that in an ancient script that says “we are all shadows in the setting sun” The temple doors Are heavy stone Engraved with sculptures of powerful dragons now passed. The temple is made of the same stone. It may have been hung from the mountain itself. The temple was at one time very elaborate and elegant. Now the woe of time showing on the outer door of the temple and the columns that support a roof that extends 10 feet from the door itself. There are snow covered rock scattered around the temple. There is nothing special about these boulders.

The Lore of Dying Gold

If you heal the dragon it will say.” I was born when dragons ruled the world and my parents were 2 of the most powerful dragons in the world. Our family has had a long feud with that tribe of red dragos and we are the last one from our tribe in these lands. I was a young dragon 4,000 years ago and I have seen empires change and grow only to fall again. When i was a young dragon the temple to obinew was first built but its shrines have not been visited for 3,000 years. Obinew is one of the three deities of a forgotten world. He is the god of power and strength he and sildren are the two deity on knowledge. Sildren is the deity of peace like the color gray or silver. He values calm tranquility like a still pond of clear water in a high glade of a mountain. This was his shrine before his world and worshipers were lost. The deity is Amun-knock the patron deity of love compassion, and empathy. Her daughter is one of earth constellations. Her name is adrian. She is the god of beauty. I almost forgot to mention obinew child. His child is the most hideous think, the king of beasts It is 30 foot long 6 feet wide and 10 feet tall. It has a head like an armored helmet with 12 eyes and a crown like obsidian. 2 huge claws on the end of big strong’s are this thick front legs. It has 10 or 2 pincers and 4 legs on each side these legs are painted like a spiders but look as strong as uranium. It has a body like a lion, only a lion with scales. It has a row of spines with webbing in between running down its spin. It has a 15 foot tail of long ovals and about 14 of them. At the very end is the tail of scorpion with a huge 2 foot stinger. 3,000 years ago a huge clap like the sound of thunder came rolling from the top of this very motion. It is said that there is a curse up there. If you go up there I suspect it will be the days first visitors in 3,000 years.” with that the dragon dies.

The Templar Reviled

As you come close to the top of the mountain The air grows thinner and thinner. Suddenly there is a flash of red light and you see a flash of gold as a gold dragon fall from the sky like a fallen angel. Followed by a huge ancient red dragon. Cedric runs forward, as he rides he throws his hand axe and it flies toward the Red dragons. As he rides he grows huge silver wings and flys up to combat. Now he is completely a silver dragon, The Gold comes clattering down to the ground and the whole mountain top shakes. Cedric bull charges the red dragon and pins it to the mountain side. The red dragon bites the silver dragons neck and blood is now the color of the snow. Cedric’s body goes limp and he falls to the ground dead.  The gold dragon gets back up and ripped off the red dragon’s head in one final push of energy. The red dragon dies. The gold dragon land on the snow in front of Cedric. He drops 4 potions of thin air if the party was not gifted them already by the holy healer in the town. The gold dragon collapses to its knees. If not healed the dragon will die in 1d4 hours. If healed it will tell you the history of this place. If it is dead the dm should remind the party of cedric’s axe.

The Fortress

As you climb higher the air grows thiner and thiner. Suddenly there is a deep rumble like the ground itself is complaining about your presence. If the party  looks they will see only the remains of rock slides. As they continue the sound keeps coming. Eventually a rock castle Burst out of one of the rock slides. In Round 1 there are 2, But  2 more come toward the end of the combat. When they get the energy cores they will be able to do nothing with them except the person who will have a vision. The vision will be of 5 doors each with a slot for an energy core and the symbol of an axe on the door. The third door will be broken down with a coffin in the middle of a dome shaped room of stone. The coffin will be broken and a body wrapped in linen will be at the bottom. There is a place where an axe should rest between the body’s hands.
